Health & Safety is at the forefront of everything we do at JJS. We continually invest in all aspects of safety to ensure our islly invest. We work closely with our external Health & Safety consultant and we are pleased to announce that all the hard work has culminated in our continued accreditation to CHAS (

The process of gaining accreditation to CHAS is very rigorous and examines every safety aspect in our line of work. We constantly work to improve all areas to meet the high standards set by CHAS. John Jenkins & Son considers Health & Safety to be of the utmost importance and we ensure that all of our operatives are trained to a high standard and are knowledgeable about all aspects of safety in their roles.

As well as joining CHAS, three of our employees (Graham Stirling, Mark Brown & James White) recently completed the Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) and all of our employees have up to date CSCS cards.

Furthermore, for the past 25 years we have been a member of Scottish Engineering ( who guide us with all aspects of business including Health & Safety and employment law.
